UV (Ultra Violet) rays coming from the sun can really hurt your skin. So, you should avoid exposing your bare skin too much in the sun.
As I have earlier said that the sun has negative as well as positive effects on your body too.
The main benefit of the sun is that it provides a vitamin-D synthesis and antidepressant action to your skin.
But the sun can also cause damages like burns, spots, photo-aging and even skin cancer to your healthy skin.
In order to avoid these skin damages and enjoy only the benefits, there are a few useful techniques that I will be sharing with you in this blog post.

Tips to Protect Your Skin from the Sun
1. Apply Sunscreen before Going Out:
Sunscreen helps to filter the very harmful UV (Ultra Violet) type A and type B radiations coming from the sun. It protects your outer skin from getting tanned and other various skin related infections.
The sunscreen will also help you to avoid progressive tan and any skin related complications caused by the sun. It can even protect you from various long-term consequences like photo-aging and even skin cancer.
2. Apply Sunscreen Frequently:
If your skins are continuously exposed to the sun for a longer period of time then you can apply sunscreens on your skin too frequently to avoid negative consequences.
It is necessary to apply the adequate and evenly distributed amount of sunscreen throughout the body half an hour before leaving home and then repeat the application every two hours. This will keep your skin safe from harmfulness of the sun.
3. Use Sun Protection Hats, Glasses, Hand Gloves etc.
There are a lot of sun protection accessories are available in the market which ranges from Hats, Sunglasses, Hand Gloves to even sun protecting coated shirts.
Thanks to these accessories, besides protecting ourselves, these bring fun and a unique touch to sun protection.
4. Drink Enough Water:
Drinking enough water will keep your skin hydrated which will prevent any kind of skin infections caused by the sun.
When your skin stays hydrated the direct effects gets minimized on your skin and you don’t extreme cases of sunburns.
5. Use Moisturizers:
Every time, after you get exposed to the direct sun, it is very important to apply moisturizers with Aloe Vera which moisturizes your skin.
Aloe Vera has the capability of repairing your skins and minimizing the tan that you get from the sun.
6. Scrub Your Skin Once in a Week:
If possible, try to scrub your skin at least once in a week while showering which will remove the dead skins and reduce the tanning from your skin.
You can buy any gentle kind of scrub from your local market and use it to clean your body.
Do not over exfoliate your skin but rub it gently to avoid any kind of scratch in the skin.
7. Sunbath Only at Appropriate Times:
Taking sunbath after 11 am and before 4 pm is not advisable at all. Because at that time, the sun is more dangerous to your skins.
Doctors advise that taking sunbaths in the morning time and evening time is more beneficial to your health.
