Actually, people often forget that abstinence from smoking and alcohol is the best prevention of hypertension, as well as limiting the consumption of unhealthy foods in large quantities, such as salt.

Here are several simple rules for preserving heart health:

  • Your diet should be diverse, excluding excessive consumption of fat and sweet.
  • It is necessary to walk about 3 km per day.
  • Regularly measure blood pressure.
  • Measure blood cholesterol levels (especially after 40 years).

If you want your heart to work properly, it is necessary to nourish your body with vitamins, potassium, and magnesium, and also help the heart muscle to be saturated with oxygen.

Stress and nervous tension are the main causes of heart disease. Therefore, it is important to ask yourself if you often feel relaxed. How often are you in stressful situations? Try to think more about yourself, meditate, look closely at your emotions and sensations. Of course, it is impossible to throw all other worries and forget about all problems… But in any case, you can find time for yourself, for rest, for doing something that really brings you joy and pleasure. Try to relax at least 2 hours during the day.

In order to have a healthy heart, you need to monitor your weight. When overeating in our body accumulates fats, which negatively affects our health. Fats are deposited on the walls of blood vessels and arteries, disrupting normal blood circulation. The heart begins to suffer, blood pressure rises, cholesterol appears … Thus, our cardiovascular system turns into a time bomb.

Therefore, try to avoid eating fatty foods, as well as salt. Include in your diet more fruits, foods rich in fiber, cereals. Drink more water and natural juices.
