The heart is one of the most important organs of a man. This is a kind of pump that pumps blood into the vascular system. The condition of the organs and body systems depends on the proper functioning of the heart and the entire cardiovascular system.
As a matter of fact, the duration of a person’s life also depends on it. In conditions of stress, poor ecology and an unhealthy diet, the heart needs special care. Unfortunately, we often do not pay enough attention to this organ which must be protected from youth age.
Lifestyle is of great importance, especially because it is our choice. In order to have healthy arteries before retiring, we must spend time taking care of it.
Actually, people often forget that abstinence from smoking and alcohol is the best prevention of hypertension, as well as limiting the consumption of unhealthy foods in large quantities, such as salt.
So, what are the factors that lead to “failures” in the heart?
- Hereditary factor;
- gender factor (men suffer from heart disease more often);
- age factor (the older the person, the greater the risk of heart disease);
- elevated level of low-density cholesterol;
- arterial hypertension;
- psycho-emotional stress;
- bad habits (smoking);
- malnutrition, obesity;
In fact, the cardiac muscle should receive the necessary nutrition and eliminate toxic substances.
Here are several simple rules for preserving heart health:
- Do not smoke.
- Your diet should be diverse, excluding excessive consumption of fat and sweet.
- It is necessary to walk about 3 km per day.
- Regularly measure blood pressure.
- Measure blood cholesterol levels (especially after 40 years).
If you want your heart to work properly, it is necessary to nourish your body with vitamins, potassium, and magnesium, and also help the heart muscle to be saturated with oxygen.
Stress and nervous tension are the main causes of heart disease. Therefore, it is important to ask yourself if you often feel relaxed. How often are you in stressful situations? Try to think more about yourself, meditate, look closely at your emotions and sensations. Of course, it is impossible to throw all other worries and forget about all problems… But in any case, you can find time for yourself, for rest, for doing something that really brings you joy and pleasure. Try to relax at least 2 hours during the day.
In order to have a healthy heart, you need to monitor your weight. When overeating in our body accumulates fats, which negatively affects our health. Fats are deposited on the walls of blood vessels and arteries, disrupting normal blood circulation. The heart begins to suffer, blood pressure rises, cholesterol appears … Thus, our cardiovascular system turns into a time bomb.
Therefore, try to avoid eating fatty foods, as well as salt. Include in your diet more fruits, foods rich in fiber, cereals. Drink more water and natural juices.
